Contact & Support

Need help with your account, billing, WordPress connector plugin, site connection, or article generation inside WordPress?

Getting started with IdeaToPress

Use these steps to connect WordPress, generate a first article, and create a draft safely. IdeaToPress does not guarantee rankings, and generated articles should be reviewed before publishing.

  1. Create or sign in to your IdeaToPress account.
  2. Download the connector plugin from the IdeaToPress dashboard.
  3. Install and activate the plugin in WordPress.
  4. Open IdeaToPress Settings in WordPress.
  5. Connect the plugin to IdeaToPress.
  6. Confirm your site appears in the SaaS WordPress section.
  7. Confirm your usage and plan before generating.
  8. Choose or write a topic in WordPress Generate Article.
  9. Generate your first article using your normal plan quota.
  10. Create a WordPress draft from the reviewed preview.
  11. Review and edit the draft in WordPress before publishing.
Quota and draft safety

Sample topics are free to view, but article generation uses your normal plan quota. Create WordPress drafts first, review them in WordPress, and publish only after review.

Troubleshooting setup

Plugin not connected

Open WordPress admin, go to IdeaToPress Settings, and use Connect with IdeaToPress. If automatic connection fails, use the manual token flow from your SaaS WordPress section.

Wrong WordPress site connected

Check the site URL shown in SaaS and in WordPress Settings. Contact support before reconnecting if the saved site URL looks wrong.

Connector version outdated

Open WordPress Plugins and use Update now when an IdeaToPress Connector update appears. If needed, download the latest private ZIP from the SaaS dashboard.

Usage limit reached

Generation uses your normal plan quota. Free includes 3 lifetime articles; paid plans reset by billing period. Upgrade if needed. There is no overage billing.

Canceled-but-active access

A canceled paid plan can remain active until the paid period ends. Remaining quota is available until the access end date shown in Billing.

Draft not visible in WordPress

Check Posts > All Posts, confirm the selected author/category filters, and verify the draft was created on the connected WordPress site.

Upgrade or checkout from plugin

Use Billing in the SaaS dashboard or the upgrade link shown in the plugin usage panel. Do not share checkout links in support tickets.

Where to contact support

Email support@ideatopress.com with your account email, site URL, plugin version, and the visible error message. Do not send passwords, connector tokens, recovery codes, reset links, checkout links, or signed private links.

Troubleshooting failed generation or draft creation

Failed Generation

Retry when safe, simplify the topic/input, check usage or plan limits, and confirm connector status when generation started from WordPress. Contact support if the same failure repeats.

Draft Creation Issues

Check the plugin connection, WordPress user permissions, default author/category/status settings, and Posts or Drafts in the connected WordPress site. Reconnect the plugin if needed.

Publishing or callback failed

The generated article may still exist in IdeaToPress history. Check the connector, retry draft creation only when available, and do not auto-publish blindly.

Image Issues

Article text may still be usable. Try image generation or insertion again later, check your plan image entitlement, or continue with a draft without an image when available.

Connector Issues

Download or update the connector, reconnect in WordPress IdeaToPress Settings, confirm the site in the SaaS WordPress section, and never share connector tokens.

Usage / Quota Issues

Free is 3 lifetime articles. Paid plan limits reset by billing period, canceled-but-active plans keep access until the shown end date, and IdeaToPress does not bill overages.

Before contacting support

Billing help

Lemon Squeezy handles secure checkout and may send receipts or billing emails. Cancellations are scheduled for the end of the current paid period. Downgrades are support-only during beta.

Important note

IdeaToPress generates and manages articles inside WordPress, then creates drafts only. It does not automatically publish content to your site.
